Waza, Yasmeen visit Pulwama to pay tribute to martyrs

Srinagar, June 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leaders, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Yasmeen Raja visited Pulwama to pay tributes to the Kashmiri youth, Sajjad Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Ashraf, who were martyred by Indian armed forces recently.

The leaders heading two separate delegations visited the area to express solidarity with the bereaved families.

On the occasion, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said, “Kashmir is the core issue between the two nuclear powers of the region. If the issue is not included in the agenda, the talks are bound to fail.”

“Right from 1947, India has been trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force. But neither they succeeded in the past, nor would they in future,” he added.
