Waza seeks world help in resolution of Kashmir dispute

Srinagar, March 27, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has said that the world powers should help resolve the internationally-accepted Kashmir dispute as it has endangered peace in the region.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmir was a political dispute and needed to be resolved as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

He said that the permanent settlement of the dispute could bring peace and prosperity in the region. He said the alienation prevailing among the valley towards rulers would be vanished once the Kashmir dispute gets resolved according to the will of its people.

The APHC leader said that the statesmanship of the south Asian region should come forward for the resolution of Kashmir dispute that would bring stability in the world.

Waza denounced the repressive tactics of the Indian rulers in curbing the freedom struggle of Kashmiris who are continuously sacrificing their lives just to secure the long pending demand of right to self-determination.

He appealed to the international organisations to visit the valley for taking serious notice of the situation via-z-via human rights violations that Indian forces are commenting in the territory.
