Srinagar, May 14, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has expressed concern over the grave human rights violations being committed by India forces in the territory and has appealed to the visiting Amnesty international team to apprise the world of the ground situation in Kashmir.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, while addressing the party meeting in Srinagar stressed the party workers, leaders and activists to intensify their activities for the freedom cause. Waza said that Kashmir had never been part of India and nor would it be in future.
The meeting was attended by senior party leaders including Ghulam Qadir Rah, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Jafar Kashmiri, Shakeel-ur-Rehman, Advocate Abdul Ahad Qadri, Tahoor Ahmad, Rauf Kashmiri and Engineer Fayaz. Party Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza briefed party leaders and activists about the present political situation in the region.
