Srinagar, June 10, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference and Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmed Shah has said that India needs to do several things for the holding of any dialogue on the Kashmir dispute.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a media interview commenting on the statement of the Congress leader, Saif-ud-Din Soz that Manmohan Singh’s door was open for talks with Hurriyet leaders, maintained that by making such statements, pro-India leaders were trying to appease their bosses in Delhi.
“We will not go begging for talks to anyone’s door. Before holding talks on Kashmir, a lot of ground work needs to be done and when talks will be held, Mr Soz will have no role in it”, he added.
He ruled out the holding of any talks within the ambit of Indian constitution and added that “war and dialogue cannot go together.”
