The United States has again rebuffed PTI Chief Imran Khan’s claims about its involvement in his removal from power.

Responding to a question during his daily press briefing in Washington, the State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said there is no truth in Imran Khan’s allegations about US involvement in his removal from power.

The spokesperson said the United States will not let propaganda, misinformation or disinformation to get in the way of its valued bilateral partnership with Pakistan.

He said the United States has always viewed a prosperous and democratic Pakistan as critical to its interests.

Responding to another question, the spokesperson said the United States supports peaceful holding of constitutional and democratic elections in Pakistan.
