Karachi, August 20, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) has urged the prime minister (PM) Mian Nawaz Sharif to show determination and a positive optimistic outlook to the nation and particularly the business community which needs guidance and a road map to look forward and plan ahead.

The economy needs revamping and the services of economist is needed to advise the government to stimulate the economy by facilitating the exporters, importers and industries on modern lines.
The exploitation of indigenous raw material to make import substitution items needs full fledged promotion.
Corruption and inefficiency needs to be tackled by strengthening the anti corruption forces and efficiency by surprise checks and suspension or dismissal of the inefficient and neglectful officers.
