Two Hundred tons of Dates provided to Pakistan by Saudi Government as gift

Islamabad, April 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided 200 tons of dates to Government of Pakistan as a gift. On behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jassim Mohammad Khalid Al-Khalidi, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad, formally handed over the consignment to Mr. Omar Hamid Khan, Sr. JS/Director General (ERC), Cabinet Division, Islamabad. Senior officials of Foreign Office and Cabinet Division were also present.

On behalf of the Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Omar Hamid Khan expressed sincere thanks and gratitude for this kind gesture of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also conveyed the warm sentiments of the people of Pakistan for their Saudi brethren for their love and affection and also expressed the hope that the warm and cordial relations between the two brotherly states will continue to flourish in the times to come.
