Karachi, January 02, 2017 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the candidates who have passed examinations for the posts of the headmasters/headmistresses, held under IBA, will be appointed soon and no injustice and no malpractice will be done in this regard. The rumours regarding malpractice in appointments of HMs are baseless and incorrect as well. This he said while presiding over a meeting in his office on Monday.
Secretary education schools Jamal Mustafa Syed also attended the meeting. He said that all the principles of merit would be taken into consideration while appointing and posting these qualified HMs. He assured them that no injustice would be committed in this regard. He asked these candidates that there was no need to protest in this regard and all matters were being monitored closely. He added, USAID is constructing 106 high quality schools across Sindh and it will enhance quality education in the province.
The Minister Education Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar directed Secretary Education schools to ensure postings of the teachers at union council basis and no lethargic attitude would be tolerated in this regard. He also asked him to adopt a comprehensive policy to open closed schools so that each child of the province must attend the school. Meanwhile the minister education Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar visited districts Jacobabad and Shikarpur and directed the officers concerned to increase enrolment in the schools and make no compromise on quality education and on-going construction work at schools.
