Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has established a Vietnam Desk at Karachi

Karachi, May 07, 2015 (PPI-OT): Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has established a Vietnam Desk at Karachi. The Desk will be a focal point for increasing bilateral trade and coordination among the stakeholders. The focal officers for Vietnam Desk are Mr. Faisal Rasheed Awan, Assistant Manager, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Mr. Vu Viet Dzung, Second Secretary, Head of Vietnam Trade Mission at Karachi and Ms. Vu Minh Phuong, Trade officer, Embassy of Pakistan at Vietnam.

Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation for trade promotion between the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) was signed and both sides have agreed to exchange the delegations at various levels and will participate in trade fairs organised in the respective countries. TDAP and VIETRADE will establish trade promotions programs and will carry out a joint research with the aim of identifying the potential sectors of each country under the program.

Trade Development Authority of Pakistan is also participating in 10th Vietnam International Exhibition on Products, Equipment Supplies for Medical, Pharmaceutical, Hospital in September, 2015 at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. TDAP will also send high profile delegation to Vietnam. Furthermore, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam will organise a business delegation to visit Karachi in August, 2015.
