Srinagar, June 27, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir has denounced police action on an Iftaar party in Shopian and has termed it as an intervention in religious matters.
The Tehreek-e-Hurriyet spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the police had no justification torture elderly people and to arrest youth invited to the Iftaar party. The statement said that Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir was a peaceful organization and running its campaign in a peaceful manner. The TeH said that Indian police and agencies were not allowing pro-freedom organizations to work peacefully in the territory.
Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Muzahamat in a statement ridiculed the statement of puppet Chief Minister wherein she had termed the Pampore-type attack against the norms of Islam and humanity, saying that before issuing such assertions the authorities should realise that the hands of Indian troops were smeared with blood of innocents.
