New Delhi, May 27, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, maintaining that he is carrying a message of peace to India has said that talks are the only solution to resolving outstanding issues between Pakistan and India.
Mohammad Nawaz Sharif in a media interview in New Delhi said that he intended to take up threads from where Vajpayee and he left off in 1999.
Describing his visit as a great opportunity, the Pakistan Prime Minister said that it was a chance to reach out to each other. “Both governments have a strong mandate. This could help in turning a new page in our relations,” he added.
Nawaz Sharif, who is on his first official visit to India after assuming office last year, attended the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
