Syed Qaim Ali Shah says that Sindh Government ready to hold Local Bodies elections as per directives of Supreme Court

Karachi, November 07, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that Sindh Government is ready to hold Local Bodies elections as per directives of supreme court. This he said while presiding over a meeting regarding preparations of local Bodies Elections held at CM House Karachi today.

The Senior Minister for education, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, The Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Enam Memon, The Sindh Minister Parliamentary affairs Dr. Sikandar Mendhro, Advisor to CM Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Sindh Chaudhry Muhammad Aijaz, Secretary Local Government Ali Ahmed Lund, Advocate General Sindh Khalid Javed and other officers attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting the Chief Minister Sindh directed that officers concerned to remain in contact with the election commission and update them about all information / preparation and also complete the process with in due course of time.

The Chief Minister Sindh while realizing the time as short, has cancelled the leave of Saturday and Sunday next and directed the officers and officials concerned to remain an their job and complete the same with in time.

The Chief Minister Sindh also directed the officers that difficulties if any due to short time be resolved with mutual understanding with election commission and ensure that all the pre requist requirement of the election are complete.
