Karachi, March 08, 2016 (PPI-OT):“In Pakistan, there is a lot of potential to achieve sustainable development”, the Consul General of Switzerland in Karachi – Mr. Emil Wyss – expressed these views during his recent visits to Sindh Governor House, Truck Stand – Hawksbay, Greenwich University, and Flower Show at Sea View Park – Clifton.
Attending an event organized by LADIES FUNDTM at the Sindh Governor House, the Consul General stressed upon the fact that with women empowerment Pakistan is on the road to success. During his meeting with Representatives of Karachi Goods Carrier Association (KGCA) and visit to the Karachi Truck Stand – Hawksbay, the Swiss envoy said that Pakistani truck art shows fantastic colours, portrays excellent artwork, and shows wonderful craftsmanship and truly represents the real image of Pakistan and it is important to let the world know more and more about it.
In an interactive session and discussion on “Direct Local Democracy in Switzerland with the students of Greenwich University”, Mr. Wyss appreciated the recent study which mentions that Pakistani students are the 4th most intelligent which is a precursor to the country’s bright future. The Consul General also visited the 65th Annual Flower show organized by Horticulture Society of Pakistan held at the Sea View Park.
