Karachi, March 04, 2019 (PPI-OT): Sindh Revenue Board while taking serious notice of the delay at the Sub-Registrar Offices of Karachi a propos the registration of documents and submission to inspection unit directed all the Sub-Registrars that the registration of document and submission to inspection unit must be done within three (03) days of the receipt and registration at Sub-Registrar offices. According to the notification only the complete registration documents would be accepted for registry.
Strict disciplinary action under “The Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973” and other relevant laws and rules will be initiated against the Sub-Registrars who failed to comply with the given timelines. It had been reported by the World Bank’s “Ease of Doing Business Report 2019” that the time taken at the Sub-Registrar offices of Karachi for the property registration process was 180 days, which was a huge impediment of provincial economy.
