Special Representative to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Middle East Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has said that every possible step is being taken for inter-religious harmony and to promote interfaith dialogue in the country.
Addressing a news conference in Multan today (Tuesday), he said it is the foremost duty of the state to protect the rights of minorities.
He said that problems faced by the Madrasas will be solved on priority basis.
Tahir Ashrafi also condemned attacks in Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels and said that Pakistan has good bilateral relation with all Arab countries.
