Karachi, November 03, 2017 (PPI-OT):Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Mukesh Kumar Chawla has said that Sindh ET and NT is making proper arrangements to train its officers to combat the new techniques of the criminals and to equip them with modern technology. This he said while presiding over a meeting in his office on Friday. Secretary Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Abdul Haleem Shaikh, Director General Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui and other officers also attended the meeting.
He asked the Secretary and Director General to provide best training to the officers regarding anti-money laundering and Computer bases Crime Scene Investigation Drug Organized Crime and Money Laundering so that they might be able to handle the criminals in an efficient manner.
He was sure that unless our officers were trained fully, we would not be able to catch the big fishes of money laundering cases and smuggling of the narcotics. On this occasion DG Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui informed the meeting that arrangements for the training of the officers had been made at Anti Narcotics Force Academy Islamabad and it would benefit ET and NT officers well. The minister for ET and NT Mukesh Chawla expressed his satisfaction over the training arrangements.
