Karachi, December 23, 2012 (PPI-OT): Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Media Affairs and Auqaf Sharmila Faruqui has said that Special Children are part and parcel of the society and they are second to none in talents. They just need proper attention and facilities to use their capabilities.
This she said as a chief guest here at Darul Sukun in Award distribution ceremony of gifts. She said that she was very happy to here among these special children and it was the responsibility of all stake holders to come forward to help out in this noble cause.
She added Sindh Govt has taken many steps to provide better opportunities to special people. She suggested that in all buildings and commercial areas ramp should be made to facilitate the special children.
As a civilized society it our prime duty to take care of special people She said that Govt has allocated 2 percent quota in Govt jobs for disabled people and it was strictly being followed. Special children should be treated as we treat common children. No doubt they have some issues so they also need our more attention.
