Srinagar, March 06, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that the just solution to the Kashmir dispute is the basic need for peace in South Asia. Paying tributes to the three youth killed in a gunfight at Dadsara Tral, recently APHC leaders including Muhammad Musadiq Aadil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Abdul Majeed Wani, Jaffar Kashmir and Engineer Fayaz visited Karibal, Dadsara and Awantipora areas and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
On the occasion, APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq talked to the families of the martyrs over phone and expressed solidarity with them. Terming the sacrifices of martyred youth as precious asset for the people of Kashmir, he said the liberation struggle would continue till achieving the martyrs’ mission.
Addressing the condolence meet, the Hurriyet leaders stressed that Kashmir dispute could not be put in cold storage for long and unresolved Kashmir dispute was dangerous for peace in South Asia. Meanwhile, an APHC spokesman in a statement in Srinagar expressed condolence over the demise of a senior Hurriyet activist, Ghulam Rasool Khan alias Lassa Khan of Sone Brari, Kulgam, and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Recalling the contribution of the deceased Hurriyet activist, the spokesman said he had rendered a lot of sacrifices for Kashmir struggle by sacrificing every luxury of life for the future of Kashmir. His sons had been martyred and his life partner too had stood by his side in the most difficult times.
On the other hand, the Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir in a statement issued in Srinagar denounced the attack on two innocent Muslims by an unruly Hindu mob at Dangri village of Rajouri. The JI spokesperson said the communal fanatics led by Narendra Modi in India and backed by RSS ideologue are involved in anti-Muslim activities. The Jamaat expressed solidarity with the victim family.
