Karachi, April 10, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Provincial Tourism Department has taken a leap forward to promote Tourism in the province. In this Regard, under the Gorakh Hills station development scheme, 8 tourist huts and Tuck shop/restaurant are being inaugurated on Saturday April 12, 2014. The above cited projects have been completed within the ambit of total scheme allocation of Rs.999.00 million.
According to the details, 8 tourist huts have been completed with a cost of Rs. 25.000 million whereas the construction of tuck shop/restaurant has been accomplished with a cost of Rs.32.158 million. Furthermore, at the time of inauguration of the afore-mentioned components of the scheme, stone laying ceremony of remaining 8 summer Resorts/Huts will also be held.
The inauguration ceremony will be performed by the Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism Department, Sharmila Farooqui.
It is pertinent to point out here that other components of the very scheme like water supply, building structure (including Police pickets), road mile stones, caution boards, internal electric system, supply of electric from Wahi Pandhi to Gorakh Hills Station, bridge, approaches and cause ways have already been completed.
