Sindh Governor orders KMC to handover facilities to Billiard, Snookers’ Club Association

Karachi: Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan has directed Administrator Karachi to immediately hand over the sports facilities, available on the first floor of KMC Sports Complex, to Billiard and Snooker Club Association.

Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Association which called on him here in Governor House on Tuesday, he also instructed to establish training center for billiard and snooker.

Governor Sindh said that Pakistani youths have earned a big name in snooker and scored first and second positions in different international events which was a good sign.

He directed to promote the game in school and college level and hold tournaments on regular basis. He assured the delegation that he would try for providing a grant to the association by provincial government for promotion of the game.

The delegation told that Pakistan had got high positions in world level championships and ranking beside gold medal in recent Asian cup but still the game was deprived of the government sponsorship.
