Sindh Government to introduce whistle monitoring system to facilitate fisherman in deep sea

Karachi, November 14, 2018 (PPI-OT): Sindh Government on Tuesday decided to introduce whistle monitoring system with the technical help of Pakistan Navy and Marine Times security in order to help fisherman at deep sea. Provincial Minister for livestock and Fisheries Abdul Bari Pitafi said this in a meeting where he distributed cheques amongst the families of Fisherman detained by the Indian authorities.

The provincial Minister further stated that provincial government is committed to make sure safe return of every fisherman from Indian Jails and Sindh Government had raised the issue with federal government and other concerned departments. Secretary livestock and Fisheries Aijaz Ahmed Mahesar, DG Fisheries Dr Alahhdad Talour and other officers have also attended the meeting.

The provincial Minister various fisherman lost their way at deep sea and are being arrested by Indian Navy. “We will introduce a whistle monitoring system to save the fisherman” said the provincial Minister. He further stated that with the help of Whistle Monitoring System fisherman will only be allowed to a certain and approved area of sea. Abdul Bari Pitafi also states that Pakistan Navy and Marian time security will provide technical assistance in this regard.
