Karachi, August 16, 2016 (PPI-OT):On behalf of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Ms. Shamim Mumtaz has presented a cheque Rs. 10 million to family of Shaheed Amjad Sabri at his residence here on Tuesday. On this occasion, Amjad Sabri’s mother, children and younger brother were also present.
Talking to media persons alongwith brother of Shaheed Amjad Sabri, Ms. Shamim Mumtaz said that Amjad Sabri was world renewed Qawal and his voice was matchless. She said that there is no substitute of human life but the amount provided by the Sindh Government would be utilized for the education, health and other expenditures of Shaheed Amjad Sabri’s children. She added that Government of Sindh has fulfilled one of its promises by providing monitory assistance on the directions of Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah.
She said that on the directives of PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPPP President, Asif Ali Zardari, process of establishing an institute with the name of Shaheed Amjad Sabri was also in progress which would be materialized very soon.
Provincial Minister for Social Welfare said that Government of Sindh will provide Job to the wife of Shaheed Amjad Sabri, if she is qualified, otherwise Amjad Sabri’s brother would be provided a job because Sabri’s children are underage. She said that investigation into the killing of Amjad Sabri was in progress and some of the culprits have been arrested by law enforcement agencies adding that names of those arrested criminals could not be disclosed as it was sensitive matter. She assured the family of Amjad Sabri for full moral as well as legal support in the case of Shaheed Amjad Sabri, adding that People’s Lawyer Forum has also promise to provide legal support in Sabri’s murder case.
Talking on this Amjad Sabri’s brother thanked the Sindh Government especially Chairman PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPPP President, Asif Ali Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah. He hoped that Government of Sindh would also materialize other promises.
