Sindh Chief Secretary seeks report of Health department’s development projects

Karachi, April 17, 2015 (PPI-OT): Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Siddique Memon has sought a comprehensive report on all Development Projects of the Sindh Health Department within a week. Chief Secretary while presiding over a review meeting of the Sindh Medical Support Programme in his office on Friday, asked the Secretary Health to submit report. The briefing of SMSP, Health Case Commission, Sindh Health Foundation and provincial health development projects was also accorded.

The meeting reviewed the administrative and financial aspects and issues of the projects. Secretary Health Iftikhar Shallwani, Secretary Finance Suhail Rajput and Secretary General Administration Ahmed Bux Narijo also attended the meeting. Chief Secretary issued on the spot orders for solution of issues, and emphasized upon the patients welfare programme, requiring report, thereof, from Secretary Health.

He categorically noted that the patients must be facilitated in respect of their treatment in accordance with the rules and regulations. He also asked that discipline and punctuality including timely attendance on the part of medical and para medical staff should be prioritized to ensure the good governance and sufficient service delivery.
