Sheikh Humayun Sayeed Expresses Deep Sorrow on Siachen Tragedy and Appeals Business Community to Pray

Islamabad: Sheikh Humayun Sayeed, Former Vice President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Chairman, FPCCI Standing Committee on Delegations expressed a deep sorrow on the sad incident of Siachen Glacier resulted in missing of 135 individuals including 124 soldiers and 11 civilians at Gayari sector.

He said that Pakistani nation is sad on this tragedy and Salute to our soldiers who are in trouble for our safety and security while performing sacred duties of defending their motherland on the world’s highest war zone “Siachen”. He also stated that it is a national tragedy which has affected the families of the victims and has disturbed the entire nation.

The whole nation prays for the safety of the soldiers as these brave men are defenders of Pakistan. Their services for the nation are invaluable as they put their lives on stake for the safety and security of the country.

Sheikh Humayun Sayeed, Former Vice President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Chairman, FPCCI Standing Committee on Delegations said that the whole business community of Pakistan stands with the soldiers and will leave no stone unturned in supporting the arm forces on this tragic heartbreaking occasion.

Sheikh Hamayun Sayeed also thanked the countries who have sent their experts to participate in rescue operation.
