Karachi, September 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Shamim Mumtaz, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Rehana Laghari, former provincial minister Javaid Nagori, MPA’s Khair-u-Nissa Mughal, Shahnaz Ansari and PPP workers celebrated 28th Birthday of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari with children at Civil Hospital Paeds wards on Wednesday and distributed gifts among the children.
On the occasion, Provincial Minister Shamim Mumtaz said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari directed Party workers to visit needy persons on his birthday instead of cutting cakes in luxury hotels. She said that Bilawal Bhutto is real leader of People of Pakistan who was moving ahead with the mission of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. She said that Bilawal Bhutto will participate in 2018 general election and emerge as victorious with majority and become prime minister.
Provincial Minster Shamim Mumtaz, Rehana Laghari along with party MPA’s and workers went around various wards and enquired about the health of children and asked about the facilities being provided by the hospital administration. They also met with the attendants of patients sitting in front of wards.
On the occasion, parents of children complained about the non-availability of medicine and informed that they were asked to buy expensive medicine from market. Provincial minister expressing annoyance said that Sindh government was providing millions of rupees to hospital administration for free medicine to patient and directed Medical Superintendent to return the money of medicine to patient.
