Shabbir Shah denounces use of brute force on the leaders

Srinagar, August 23, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah has strongly denounced the use of brute force against the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet leaders and activists. Shabbir Ahmad Shah, who is under detention in Delhi along with Moulana Tari, in a statement issued in Srinagar said: “Mufti-led regime has no justification in imposing undue restrictions upon the peaceful activities of the Hurriyet leaders.

The use of brute force against the leaders and activists is extremely condemnable.” in a statement issued to press said. Terming the use of tear gas and lathi charge against the TeH leaders and activists as terrorist acts, Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that no such example of barbarism could be found in any civilized society. He also condemned the arrest of the General Secretary, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and other leaders.
