Karachi, February 19, 2015 (PPI-OT): After the unbelievable brutality and massacre taken place in Peshawar on 16th December2014, it has become the responsibility of every individual to take action against terrorism. We must all try to find new ways to provide security and protection awareness to our nation. Keeping the same in mind Mustang Security arranged a security Awareness seminar for Educational Institutions on Wednesday February 18th, 2015 at Bahria auditorium, Karachi.
The main purpose of this seminar was to spread security awareness among students, Owners / management and selected staff of Educational Institutions to layout plans to help fight against terrorism and criminal elements. The seminar was chaired by Commissioner Karachi.
Other well-known guests were from police department and Civil Defence, in their speeches they appreciated the scope of awareness seminar conducted by Mustang Security. Emphasis was laid on understanding the security situation in Pakistan, how the Educational Institution should be prepared and what action to be taken in case of terrorist threat or actual attack.
Useful security tips for individuals and management were highlighted and printed material distributed to the participants. Honourable commissioner in his keynote address stated that the most important thing schools could do for future is to strengthen leadership initiatives on school safety and security readiness measures as an indication of their tireless commitment to our education, teachers, and students.
At the end of seminar students, teachers and managements of Educational Institutes ask questions to the speakers and they were also thankful to Mustang Security management for conducting well organized Security Awareness seminar. The seminar was the first in a chain of awareness initiatives launched by mustang Security, to make the year 2015, a year of combating discernible threats to safety of our children and educators.
