Lahore, November 16, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Sargodha industrial Park will be complete in next 18 months, having all necessary facilities of modern and international standard industrial parks. The principal organization, Pakistan development corporation will provide 30% investment to complete this project.
This was stated by Mr. Mohsin Syed the CEO National Industrial parks here yesterday. He said the NIP would develop the infrastructure on behalf of PIDC, he said.
The CEO NIP said that the industrialists of this area were interested in setting up their industrial units in the sectors like Bakelite Switches, Light Engineering, Flour Mills, Tractor crankshaft, Cold Storage, Foundry, Citrus Industry (farming, Processing), Pesticides and Oils Mills
It is worthwhile to be mentioned that 70% industry of Bakelite is located at Sargodha area and not only this industry will flourish but other sectors will also be benefited from it, he said.
The CEO NIP said that the main objective of development of Sargodha Industrial Estate was to promote small and medium Enterprises sectors which would ultimately boost the industrial activities in the country.
Mohsin Syed, chairman of NIP added that Rs.800 Million would be spent on this project and the board of directors of PIDC had already approved it beside other development schemes including gems and jewelry, furniture and wooden art centre, that would help boost the industrial sectors and generate employment.
