Rs 5 bln allocated for education institutions in Balochistan

Government of Balochistan has allocated five billion rupees for the construction and functioning of several residential education institutions in the province.

A spokesman of education department told Radio Pakistan Loralai correspondent in Loralai today that construction of Cadet colleges at Chaman and Kohlu is near completion while work on three Residential colleges is in progress in Sibbi, Kharan and Killa Noshki, which are estimated to cost three billion rupees.

The sources added that one residential institution set up in Uthal will start functioning from the next academic year accommodating more than one hundred students in the college.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says provincial government has implemented effective strategy to eradicate polio from the society.

In a statement in Lahore, he said parents can save children from this disease by giving proper vaccination in proper time period.
