Lahore, June 12, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows133700 cusecs and Outflows 189100 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 59500 cusecs and Outflows 59500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 46800 cusecs and Outflows 25000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 36800 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 221100 cusecs and Outflows 213300 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 222400 cusecs and Outflows 214000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows193600 cusecs and Outflows 165600 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows15300 cusecs and Outflows Nil, Guddu: Inflows 153300 cusecs and Outflows 121300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 100000 cusecs and Outflows 47700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 34700 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1459.05 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.772 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1180.60 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.328 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.00 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.200 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
