Lahore, June 09, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows165000 cusecs and Outflows 165000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 64200 cusecs and Outflows 64200 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 59400 cusecs and Outflows 15000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 53600 cusecs and Outflows 22800 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 219600 cusecs and Outflows 211800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 234800 cusecs and Outflows 214000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows192800 cusecs and Outflows 166800 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows16100 cusecs and Outflows 800 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 142900 cusecs and Outflows 112300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 96200 cusecs and Outflows 45400 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 36900 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1463.30 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.946 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1176.45 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.128 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.80 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.232 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
