Lahore, June 04, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows145300 cusecs and Outflows 165000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 57400 cusecs and Outflows 57400 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 49800 cusecs and Outflows 20000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 47900 cusecs and Outflows 18100 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 205300 cusecs and Outflows 197800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 214300 cusecs and Outflows 192000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 171400 cusecs and Outflows 146000 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows17400 cusecs and Outflows 2400 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 117600 cusecs and Outflows 96900 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 93000 cusecs and Outflows 45500 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 29300 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1460.98 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.850 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1167.05 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 2.691 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 648.00 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.240 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
