Lahore, June 02, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows178300 cusecs and Outflows 155000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 62800 cusecs and Outflows 62800 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 56400 cusecs and Outflows 20000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 54300 cusecs and Outflows 25200 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 202100 cusecs and Outflows 194600 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 213400 cusecs and Outflows 192000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 160200 cusecs and Outflows 135200 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows13600 cusecs and Outflows Nil, Guddu: Inflows 120100 cusecs and Outflows 104600 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 91500 cusecs and Outflows 44200 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows18500 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1462.46 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.911 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1164.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 2.571 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 646.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.183 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
