Lahore, December 08, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 21800 cusecs and Outflows 32000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 5400 cusecs and Outflows 5400 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 5900 cusecs and Outflows 30000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 6200 cusecs and Outflows 2000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 50200 cusecs and Outflows 45200 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 34300 cusecs and Outflows 35000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 38700 cusecs and Outflows 38600 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 7200 cusecs and Outflows Nil Guddu: Inflows 32600 cusecs and Outflows 26700 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 25000 cusecs and Outflows 4100 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 4000 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1444.40 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.269 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1124.85 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 1.164 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 641.80 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.069 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
