Lahore, November 19, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 20800 cusecs and Outflows 43000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 8200 cusecs and Outflows 8200 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 6700 cusecs and Outflows 40000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 7400 cusecs and Outflows 3000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 60500 cusecs and Outflows 54500 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 49900 cusecs and Outflows 46000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 47700 cusecs and Outflows 41500 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 8400 cusecs and Outflows Nil Guddu: Inflows 39100 cusecs and Outflows 32900 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 30000 cusecs and Outflows 7300 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 4900 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1460.80 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.843 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1154.20 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 2.151 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 645.60 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.156 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
