Lahore, November 15, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 25100 cusecs and Outflows 45000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 4200 cusecs and Outflows 4200 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 6400 cusecs and Outflows 45000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 7200 cusecs and Outflows 3000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 62500 cusecs and Outflows 56500 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 51300 cusecs and Outflows 47000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 50100 cusecs and Outflows 43400 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 4000 cusecs and Outflows Nil Guddu: Inflows 35000 cusecs and Outflows 28700 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 30000 cusecs and Outflows 7400 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 4800 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1465.00 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.016 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1160.70 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 2.413 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.20 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.120 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
