Lahore, November 13, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 25900 cusecs and Outflows 50000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 3200 cusecs and Outflows 3200 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 5300 cusecs and Outflows 45000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 7200 cusecs and Outflows 3000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 59500 cusecs and Outflows 53500 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 52600 cusecs and Outflows 47000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 45100 cusecs and Outflows 40600 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 4000 cusecs and Outflows Nil Guddu: Inflows 37300 cusecs and Outflows 31000 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 30900 cusecs and Outflows 5800 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 5300 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1467.38 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.114 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1164.25 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 2.569 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.10 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.118 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
