Lahore, October 06, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 51200 cusecs and Outflows 70000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 6100 cusecs and Outflows 6100 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 13600 cusecs and Outflows 45000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 19400 cusecs and Outflows 4600 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 93100 cusecs and Outflows 85600 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 88700 cusecs and Outflows 80000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 76900 cusecs and Outflows 63700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 12100 cusecs and Outflows Nil Guddu: Inflows 65600 cusecs and Outflows 49100 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 52000 cusecs and Outflows 11000 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 11800 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1492.97 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.218 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1195.20 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.115 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 640.80 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.051 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
