Lahore, July 21, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 256300 cusecs and Outflows 229300 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 48500 cusecs and Outflows 48500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 34600 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 92300 cusecs and Outflows 60700 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 258000 cusecs and Outflows 250200 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 274400 cusecs and Outflows 271200 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 247700 cusecs and Outflows 226500 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 39400 cusecs and Outflows 26100 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 198400 cusecs and Outflows 169900 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 157100 cusecs and Outflows 112400 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 69900 cusecs and Outflows 47300.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1521.00 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.582 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1218.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 5.612 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.40 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.102 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
