Lahore, July 11, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 233600 cusecs and Outflows 194500 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 42500 cusecs and Outflows 42500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 39700 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 95300 cusecs and Outflows 59600 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 233700 cusecs and Outflows 225700 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 251200 cusecs and Outflows 232000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 216300 cusecs and Outflows 191000 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 23000 cusecs and Outflows 7500 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 184500 cusecs and Outflows 143100 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 121700 cusecs and Outflows 67000 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 43900 cusecs and Outflows 3200.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1481.64 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.716 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1208.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.923 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.60 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.107 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
