Lahore, July 10, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 203100 cusecs and Outflows 195700 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 39600 cusecs and Outflows 39600 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 41300 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 73900 cusecs and Outflows 38100 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 224900 cusecs and Outflows 216900 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 228700 cusecs and Outflows 232000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 215800 cusecs and Outflows 191000 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 23000 cusecs and Outflows 7500 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 181000 cusecs and Outflows 139700 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 120000 cusecs and Outflows 65100 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 52000 cusecs and Outflows 11300.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1479.90 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.640 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1207.40 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.864 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 642.40 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.081 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
