Lahore, July 07, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 201000 cusecs and Outflows 183200 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 40200 cusecs and Outflows 40200 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 43000 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 78900 cusecs and Outflows 43600 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 219800 cusecs and Outflows 211800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 250200 cusecs and Outflows 232000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 206200 cusecs and Outflows 183200 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 40200 cusecs and Outflows 24500 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 170400 cusecs and Outflows 129200 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 100800 cusecs and Outflows 48700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 57900 cusecs and Outflows 17600.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1479.25 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.612 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1204.75 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.690 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.70 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.109 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
