Lahore, July 05, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 203300 cusecs and Outflows 168000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 46500 cusecs and Outflows 46500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 45600 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 84100 cusecs and Outflows 49000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 201700 cusecs and Outflows 193700 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 203500 cusecs and Outflows 210000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 200700 cusecs and Outflows 179800 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 26300 cusecs and Outflows 10700 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 159700 cusecs and Outflows 118800 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 100100 cusecs and Outflows 48700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 64600 cusecs and Outflows 24100.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1477.38 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.533 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1202.75 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.559 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.40 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.125 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
