Lahore, June 24, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 174100 cusecs and Outflows 169000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 53400 cusecs and Outflows 53400 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 40400 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 53200 cusecs and Outflows 19100 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 211200 cusecs and Outflows 203400 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 232100 cusecs and Outflows 219000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 210000 cusecs and Outflows 185700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 22900 cusecs and Outflows 9900 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 176400 cusecs and Outflows 137400 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 117200 cusecs and Outflows 63200 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 42200 cusecs and Outflows 1600.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1447.76 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.355 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1189.10 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.773 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.20 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.208 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
