Lahore, June 23, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 177500 cusecs and Outflows 160000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 56900 cusecs and Outflows 56900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 43700 cusecs and Outflows 10700 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 66700 cusecs and Outflows 32900 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 225200 cusecs and Outflows 217400 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 224300 cusecs and Outflows 224000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 204900 cusecs and Outflows 180600 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 22100 cusecs and Outflows 9000 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 168300 cusecs and Outflows 129300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 117100 cusecs and Outflows 63200 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 42200 cusecs and Outflows 1600.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1447.42 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.347 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1187.95 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.713 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.10 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.204 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
