Lahore, June 22, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 194500 cusecs and Outflows 170000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 63700 cusecs and Outflows 63700 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 48000 cusecs and Outflows 15000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 75700 cusecs and Outflows 41700 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 222700 cusecs and Outflows 214900 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 248800 cusecs and Outflows 224000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 202600 cusecs and Outflows 177600 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 21300 cusecs and Outflows 9000 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 169200 cusecs and Outflows 129300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 109200 cusecs and Outflows 55200 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 41400 cusecs and Outflows 800.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1446.12 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.313 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1186.70 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.647 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.70 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.228 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
