Lahore, June 21, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 191800 cusecs and Outflows 170000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 61900 cusecs and Outflows 61900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 49300 cusecs and Outflows 15000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 67900 cusecs and Outflows 34200 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 223000 cusecs and Outflows 215200 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 241500 cusecs and Outflows 224000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 206200 cusecs and Outflows 181200 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows14400 cusecs and Outflows 3100 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 162100 cusecs and Outflows 122000 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 100400 cusecs and Outflows 46700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 41400 cusecs and Outflows 800.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1444.28 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.266 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1185.45 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.582 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.20 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.208 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
