Lahore, June 20, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 181800 cusecs and Outflows 170000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 60900 cusecs and Outflows 60900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 55600 cusecs and Outflows 20000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 75200 cusecs and Outflows 41700 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 223900 cusecs and Outflows 216100 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 243000 cusecs and Outflows 219000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 201500 cusecs and Outflows 173300 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows17100 cusecs and Outflows 2100 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 155100 cusecs and Outflows 115300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 97000 cusecs and Outflows 44400 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 41400 cusecs and Outflows 800.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1442.65 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.224 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1184.15 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.514 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.10 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.204 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
