Lahore, June 19, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 168900 cusecs and Outflows 173800 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 58300 cusecs and Outflows 58300 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 47200 cusecs and Outflows 30000cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 59800 cusecs and Outflows 26600 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 228000 cusecs and Outflows 220200 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 241600 cusecs and Outflows 219000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 203500 cusecs and Outflows 176100 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows14500 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 154900 cusecs and Outflows 115300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 100800 cusecs and Outflows 47100 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 41400 cusecs and Outflows 800.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1441.79 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.202 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1182.80 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.443 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 646.80 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.193 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
