Lahore, June 15, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 120500 cusecs and Outflows 186700 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 52400 cusecs and Outflows 52400 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 43700 cusecs and Outflows 45000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 43300 cusecs and Outflows 11500 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 219400 cusecs and Outflows 221600 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 221100 cusecs and Outflows 214000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows192400 cusecs and Outflows 164400 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows18600 cusecs and Outflows 3100 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 151600 cusecs and Outflows 115000 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 94700 cusecs and Outflows 44100 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 38100 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1449.55 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.401 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1182.00 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.401 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 646.70 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.190 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
